Velvet Fold provides residential and small-business laundry services, including wash, dry, and fold service, pickup and delivery, optional in-home “Fold & Place” service, and dry-cleaning coordination through trusted third-party partners. We currently serve Yardley, Newtown, and surrounding communities.

Laundry should be placed outside (porch, doorstep, or designated location) by 9:00 AM on the selected pickup day, and clean laundry will be returned within 24 hours. If  laundry is not set out on the scheduled pickup day, a $25 service fee will apply to cover route and driver costs. For first-time customers, laundry should be placed in a disposable trash bag; after your first service, you’ll receive reusable Velvet Fold bags for future use. Please separate dry-cleaning items in a clearly labeled bag and mark delicates or special-care items in your booking form. Laundry must not contain bed bugs, blood, urine, feces, mold, or any other biohazardous materials. If an order is found to contain such items, it will be immediately returned unprocessed for the safety of our staff, and no refund will be issued.
 

Velvet Fold is not responsible for items left in pockets, color bleeding, shrinkage, or items requiring special handling if not properly separated. Payments are processed securely through our website at the time of booking.  Cancellations made 24 hours before pickup will be fully refunded or credited. 
 

While we handle all items with care, normal wear and tear, shrinkage, and color fading can occur. In rare cases of loss or damage, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery. Velvet Fold’s liability is limited to the replacement value of the item (up to $50 per order) or a credit toward future services at Velvet Fold’s discretion. We do not accept responsibility for items with pre-existing damage, unlabeled dry-cleaning items, or claims reported after 48 hours. Dry-cleaning services are handled by third-party partners, and Velvet Fold acts solely as a pickup and delivery agent.
 

From time to time, Velvet Fold may take photos of folded laundry or delivery setups for marketing purposes; no identifying information, addresses, or personal items will ever be shown. Personal information (name, address, contact details, payment info) is used only to provide services and will never be sold or shared for marketing purposes. Velvet Fold reserves the right to update service areas, pricing, or policies; adjust pickup and delivery times due to weather or operational needs; or temporarily suspend service during emergencies or maintenance.
